Experience Lasting Relief Through Personalised Chiropractic Care Tailored to You.

At Be Fit Chiro, we help you identify and understand the underlying cause of your pain, then support you in addressing it through care focused on long-term results rather than short-term fixes. Our approach is personalised, clear, and designed to promote lasting improvement in movement, comfort, and overall function.
We regularly review and monitor your progress, adjusting your care as your body responds. This ensures you always understand what is improving, why it is changing, and how your recovery is progressing. Many patients notice positive changes from their first visits, including reduced pain and stiffness, improved mobility and flexibility, better posture and spinal alignment, reduced muscle tension, increased comfort and energy, and a clearer understanding of their recovery journey. Our goal is to support sustainable outcomes that reduce the likelihood of recurring issues and build confidence through a structured, individualised care plan.
Our care is suitable for people across all stages of life in Brunswick East and Melbourne’s inner north. Athletes often seek support for performance improvement, injury prevention, and faster recovery. Office workers commonly present with posture-related neck and back pain associated with prolonged sitting and screen use. Seniors may benefit from improved mobility, balance, and joint function to help maintain independence and activity. Pregnant and postnatal women can receive tailored support for comfort, recovery, and changing physical demands. Tradespeople and labourers often benefit from care targeting strain related to heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and physical workload. We also support individuals recovering from sports injuries, accidents, or chronic pain, as well as anyone looking to improve overall movement, physical comfort, energy, and quality of life.

Your visit begins with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, lifestyle, and daily activities. We then conduct a thorough physical examination of your spine, muscles, joints, and movement patterns. This helps us identify the likely contributing factors to your pain and understand how it may be affecting your everyday life.
Using everything gathered during your assessment, along with X-rays where clinically appropriate, we provide a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of your condition. We’ll help you understand the factors contributing to your pain and discuss the most appropriate steps to manage it. From there, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your condition, goals, and lifestyle.
Your care is tailored to your individual needs and may include hands-on adjustments, instrument-assisted techniques, soft-tissue therapy, and targeted movement strategies. Each approach is selected to help improve movement, reduce discomfort and irritation, and support your body’s natural recovery process.
We monitor your progress regularly to ensure your care is appropriate and helping you move towards your goals. As your symptoms improve, we guide you through strategies to support long-term wellbeing, including rehabilitation exercises, maintenance care, and practical lifestyle advice. Our goal is not only to help relieve your symptoms, but also to support you in staying active, moving well, and performing at your best over the long term.

Chiropractic, derived from the Greek term meaning “done by hand,” is a healthcare approach that focuses on supporting the body’s ability to function and maintain health naturally. It is based on the principle that the body has an innate ability to heal and regulate itself when provided with the right environment.
Chiropractic care focuses on supporting spinal alignment and joint function, which may help improve movement, reduce muscle tension, and support overall wellbeing. Using hands-on techniques, chiropractors aim to assist the body’s natural healing processes and address a range of musculoskeletal concerns. Multiple sessions are often recommended depending on individual needs and goals.
Chiropractic care is generally considered safe when provided by a qualified practitioner. While all healthcare treatments carry some level of risk, serious complications from chiropractic care are uncommon.
To help ensure your safety, we review your medical history and conduct a thorough examination before beginning care. Open and honest communication is important, as sharing accurate information helps us minimise risks and develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
A chiropractor works to support spinal health and overall nervous system function. They assess the spine to identify areas where movement may be restricted or not functioning optimally. When these limitations are found, the chiropractor uses gentle techniques to help restore normal joint motion, supporting a healthier spine and improved function.
Commonly, chiropractic care is sought for:
Chiropractic care has been shown to provide numerous benefits, including:
The spine acts as the body’s protective shield for the spinal cord—the vital communication pathway between your brain and the rest of your body. Thirty-one pairs of nerves branch out from the spinal cord to control muscles, organs, and bodily functions. These delicate nerves are protected by 24 vertebrae and cushioned by shock-absorbing discs. Maintaining a healthy spine supports smooth, efficient communication throughout the body—something chiropractic care is designed to support.
A chiropractic subluxation refers to a spinal joint that isn’t moving properly and may affect the nervous system. Chiropractors often describe these as “restricted” or “jammed” joints. While the medical term “subluxation” typically refers to a partial or complete joint dislocation, chiropractic assessments focus on altered joint movement rather than an actual dislocation.
The “cracking” sound often heard during a chiropractic adjustment is caused by gas being released from the spinal joints due to a change in pressure—not by bones rubbing together. During an adjustment, the chiropractor gently moves the joint, creating a quick pressure shift that produces the popping noise, similar to releasing air from a balloon. Importantly, the bones do not touch, and not all chiropractic techniques produce this sound.
No, you do not need a referral from your GP to see a chiropractor—you can simply book an appointment directly through our website.
Please bring any existing X-rays, CT scans, or MRI reports to your appointment, as these records help your chiropractor better understand your condition and plan the most effective care.
